NEW CLOTH / MATERIALS

Some fabric arrived last week that I had bought and mailed back from Thailand. Beautiful hand dyed, hand woven cloth. Looks like it will fade and wear nicely! Also some hill tribe (Karen or Akha) fabric that was hand batiked. The rose bowl flea was yesterday and i scored some big pieces of denim. A nice old cotton obi from my fav-o-rite vendor and a small ww2 pouch. Not to mention vintage duffle bags, i have about 20 or so from various war eras, colors and armed forces. All waiting to be disassembled, washed and prepped for sewing. Here are some pics.

very heavy denim blanket? 2 large pieces of denim sewn together. woman i bought it from was using it to cover a rusty wheelbarrow.
