BORO/PATCHWORK/PROJECTS

Boro is a Japanese word meaning "tattered rags" and is usually applied to hand patched cotton futon covers and work clothes. I LOVE this style and look. I've been obsessed with it for a while now. I buy old Japanese cotton cloth when i can find it. It's very popular right now so original pieces fetch great sums of moneyLook it up on ebay. It's such a beautiful form of Japanese folk-art, so beautiful and functional. I just love the look to death. Make your own, it's easy.
